# Subscriptions in the app (https://docs.apparelai.app/mobile-app/subscriptions)

You can subscribe to an ApparelAI plan inside the iPhone, iPad or Android app. Apple or Google Play bills these in-app subscriptions, so you manage them, cancel them and ask for refunds through the store, not through ApparelAI.

## How in-app billing works [#how-in-app-billing-works]

- **iPhone and iPad:** Apple charges your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- **Android:** Google Play charges your Google account.
- **Renewal:** subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. On iPhone and iPad, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge.
- **Price:** the price in the app can differ from the website because of local taxes, currency conversion and store pricing. The price the app shows when you buy is the one that applies.
- **Payment details:** Apple or Google Play handles your payment. ApparelAI doesn't receive or store your card number.

## Plans and billing periods [#plans-and-billing-periods]

In the app, plans can be billed weekly, monthly or annually. On the website, plans are billed **Monthly** or **Annual**.

To compare what each plan includes, see [Compare plans](/billing/plans). Website prices are on the [pricing page](https://www.apparelai.app/pricing); in-app prices are shown in the app.

You can also buy one-time credit packs in the app, without a subscription. See [Buy credit packs](/billing/buy-credits).

## Refunds [#refunds]

Refunds for purchases made in the app go through Apple or Google Play, not ApparelAI. They decide each request under their own refund policies.

- **App Store purchases:** ask Apple for a refund, for example through Apple's Report a Problem page.
- **Google Play purchases:** ask for a refund through Google Play.

## Subscribed on the web? [#subscribed-on-the-web]

A plan you bought on the website is managed on the website, not in the App Store or Google Play. See [Change or cancel your plan](/billing/manage-subscription).
