Saree detail shots
Show saree craftsmanship in your listings with a close-up of the border embroidery and a flat lay of the pallu, shown alongside your saree model photos.
Make the detail images buyers zoom into before they buy: a saree border close-up and the full pallu. On-model photos show how a saree drapes. These shots show the details a drape can hide.
| Shot | What you get | Why add it |
|---|---|---|
| Saree Border Detail | A close-up of the border embroidery | Buyers can see the border work up close |
| Pallu Flat Lay | The pallu spread flat, with its full design visible | A drape shows only part of the pallu. This shows all of it |
You don't need new photos for these. The same body, pallu and blouse photos you add in Saree Mode also give you the detail shots. For the blouse on its own, see blouse flat lays and front and back views.
Get the best detail
The shots can only be as good as the photos you start from:
- Show the border. Photograph the saree flat with at least one full run of the border visible in the Saree Body photo. There's no separate border slot.
- Open the pallu. Spread it out so the whole design shows.
- Light it from the side. For zari and other metallic work, light that falls across the fabric shows the thread. Flat light from the front can make metallic thread look like grey cotton.
For premium handwoven sarees, where buyers zoom in to judge the zari, add your own close-up photos of the cloth next to these shots.
