Use Dupatta Mode for a dupatta photoshoot when you sell one on its own. You upload the dupatta like any other product, and instead of the usual pose presets, the Pose step gives you seven poses made to show off a dupatta.

Photograph the dupatta

  • Spread it out flat so the whole design and the borders show.
  • Use even light. For zari or other metallic work, light from the side shows the thread better than flat light from the front.
  • Steam out sharp fold lines first. They can show up as creases in your results.

Shoot a dupatta

Turn on Dupatta Mode

In Settings, choose the dupatta mode. See Switch modes.

Start a new photoshoot

Click New Photo Shoot in the sidebar. The Create Photo Shoot page opens on the Product step.

Upload the dupatta

Click Upload new product (front side) and choose your dupatta photo (JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 25 MB). To add a back photo, use Back side (optional). It uploads together with the front photo and is used for back-view poses.

To reuse a dupatta you've uploaded before, pick it under All products. Then click Continue.

Choose a model

On the Model step, click a saved model, add one from Use our models, or click Create New Model. See Choose a model.

Choose a dupatta pose

Pick one of the seven dupatta poses (see Dupatta poses).

Choose a background

Indian users see the Ethnic Indoor and Heritage backgrounds first. See Backgrounds.

Set the output and generate

On the Output step, choose the Aspect Ratio and Resolution. To ask for something extra, such as "make the dupatta flow in the wind", use Additional Instructions (optional). Check the credit estimate in the footer and click Generate Photo Shoot.

Each shoot makes one photo in one pose. Standard - 1K costs 1 credit, HD - 2K costs 2 credits and Ultra - 4K costs 3 credits.

Dupatta poses

In Dupatta Mode, the Pose step shows these seven presets:

  • Full-body Drape
  • Veil with Matka
  • Twirling Flow
  • Back Turn Drape
  • Seated Drape
  • One-hand Side Lift
  • Walking Trail

To get several of these for one dupatta in one go, use Bulk Photoshoot. In Dupatta Mode, each product row has a Dupatta slot (required) and an optional Back photo slot, and you can get up to 10 photos per product.

Make it move

A dupatta shows best in motion. Try the Fabric in motion template, or describe your own idea, such as the dupatta lifting in the wind. See Image to video.
