Getting started
ApparelAI Studio is an AI photoshoot platform for fashion and apparel sellers. You upload a photo of a garment, such as a flat lay, a hanger shot or a mannequin photo, and get photos of a model wearing it, plus videos and catalog images. You don't need a photographer, a model or a studio. Start with Your first photoshoot.
Yes. New accounts get free credits, and you don't need a credit card. The free plan includes 3 credits a month, enough to generate a shoot and judge the quality on your own garments. See Get free credits.
On the web, select Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft or Continue with Apple. The first time, this creates your account. See Create an account and sign in.
Yes. ApparelAI runs on the web at app.apparelai.studio and as an app for iPhone and Android. See Get the mobile app and Using the mobile app.
Flat lays, hanger shots, mannequin photos, on-body photos and supplier or wholesale catalog images. In Create Photo Shoot, upload a JPG, PNG or WEBP photo of up to 25MB. Backgrounds are removed automatically, and a clear phone photo works. See Prepare your garment photos.
No. Select Import from Store on the Products page or on Home, paste the link to a product page from Shopify, WooCommerce or any other store, and choose the photos to import. Each photo is saved as a product that you can search and shoot again. See Product library.
Photoshoots
Yes. Once you create a model or add one from the Model gallery, it's saved to your Models, and you can use it in any number of photoshoots. Every product then shows the same face. See Choose a model.
Yes. In Create Model, choose Upload Model Photo and add a photo of a real person. You need that person's written consent. You can also choose Generate with AI to build a model from gender, age range, ethnicity, skin tone, body type and hair, or pick a ready-made model from the Model gallery. See Choose a model.
Yes. In the Pose step, select Upload your own pose and add a reference photo. In the Background step, select Upload your own background. Both are saved to Custom Poses and Custom Backgrounds in Settings, so you can use them again. You can also describe a pose or background in your own words. See Poses and Backgrounds.
On the Photo Shoot Result page, type the fix in Fix & Refine, such as "make sleeves shorter", and select Apply Fix. The fixed photo is added to Version History, and your earlier versions are kept. For a bigger change, use New Variation to pick another model, pose or background, or Create Poses to get the same photo in new poses. See Edit and improve results.
ApparelAI uses your garment photo as the reference, but results can vary in color, weave, fit, drape and small details. Compare each photo with your product, especially logos, embroidery, borders and stitching, and fix or regenerate anything that's off before you list it. See Fix common problems.
A photo usually takes 30 to 50 seconds. If your browser asks, allow notifications, and you'll be told when it's ready while you work in another tab. See Notifications.
Three resolutions: Standard - 1K, HD - 2K and Ultra - 4K, which use 1, 2 and 3 credits per photo. There are ten aspect ratios, including 1:1 Square, 4:5 Social, 3:4 Portrait and 9:16 Story. See Output settings.
Each photoshoot in Create Photo Shoot makes one photo in one pose. To get more poses of a photo you've made, open it on the Photo Shoot Result page and use Create Poses to pick up to 10 poses. To shoot several poses of many products at once, use Bulk Photoshoot, where you can pick up to 10 photos for each product. See Create poses from a photo and Bulk photoshoot.
Add up to 50 products, choose one model, your poses and a background for the whole batch, and start it in one go. Any product can still get its own model, poses or background with Customise. With Review first photo before other poses turned on, you approve each product's first photo before the rest are made. See Bulk photoshoot.
Yes. Generated images are licensed to you for commercial and personal use, including your store, marketplace listings, marketing, social media and print. ApparelAI doesn't claim ownership of your uploads or your results. You're responsible for checking that photos match your product and for following each platform's disclosure rules for AI images. See the Terms and Conditions.
Sarees and ethnic wear
Turn on the saree mode in Settings and photograph the saree flat, with at least one full run of the border visible in the Saree Body photo. Add the Pallu and Blouse photos too. For complex designs, set the Saree engine to Advanced (Beta), which has sharper pallu and border detail. See Saree mode.
A folded saree photo usually shows the body and some border, while the pallu is partly hidden and the blouse piece looks like more body fabric. With separate Pallu and Blouse photos, each part comes from a real reference, so you don't end up with an invented pallu or a blouse in the wrong color. See Saree mode.
Yes. Turn on the salwar kameez mode in Settings, then upload the pieces as flat fabric: Top (Kameez), plus Bottom, Dupatta and Sleeve if you have them. The shoot shows them as a finished suit on a model. See Salwar kameez mode.
Yes. Turn on the dupatta mode in Settings. You upload the dupatta like any other product, and the Pose step shows poses made for dupattas, such as Full-body Drape and Veil with Matka. See Dupatta mode.
Yes. In the Product step, add a photo of the back under Back side (optional). It's used when you pick a back-view pose, so the back comes from your photo. See Prepare your garment photos.
For most listings, no. For premium handwoven pieces, where buyers zoom in to judge the zari, real close-up photos of the fabric are still worth adding alongside the AI model photo.
Videos
Yes. AI Image to Video turns any fashion or product photo into a short video. You can also bring a photo from your photoshoot to life inside a project with Create Video. Pick one of 20 motion templates or describe your own idea. See Turn a photo into a video.
In AI Image to Video, choose Portrait 9:16 for Reels, Stories and TikTok, or Landscape 16:9 for websites and YouTube. Videos are made in 720p. Create Video in a project has no format choice. Both let you pick 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds. To pick a template for each channel, see Motion templates.
3 credits per second with a motion template, so a 5-second video costs 15 credits and a 10-second video costs 30. A UGC Styling Tip video costs 5 credits per second. Both are discounted prices, shown in the app as 40% OFF and 29% OFF. Discounts change, so check the total above Generate video before you start. See How credits work.
In AI Image to Video, videos are silent unless you open More options and switch on Ambient audio, which adds natural sound to complement the scene. Create Video in a project has no sound option, but its UGC Styling Tip comes with sound: the model talks to the camera and gives styling tips. See Videos from a photoshoot.
No. Videos are made in the background, so you can leave the page. When a video is ready, you'll find it in Your videos. That link is at the top right of the AI Image to Video page, and it opens Tool history.
Image to Video works with any photo you upload, and it's the only place with Format, extra angles, Anything to change? and Ambient audio. Create Video in a project brings a photo from an ApparelAI photoshoot to life with a template and a length, and it's where the UGC Styling Tip with voice is available. See Videos from a photoshoot.
AI tools
The AI Tools page has four image tools (Background Remover, Background Changer, Ghost Mannequin and Color Variation), one video tool (AI Image to Video) and three creative tools (Sketch to Garment, Outfit Builder and AI Lookbook). Select AI Tools in the sidebar to find them. See AI tools.
Each tool uses credits every time you run it. Background Remover uses 1 credit. The other image and creative tools use 2 credits at the resolution that's selected at first, 2K (balanced). The button that runs a tool shows its cost before you start. Videos cost 3 credits per second. For every cost, see How credits work.
In Tool history, which lists every tool run, newest first. Select History → at the top right of any tool page, or Your videos on the AI Image to Video page. To find a run quickly, pick the tool in the filter. See Tool history.
Check the plan cards on the pricing page before you subscribe, or ask support. You can try the tools with the free plan's credits. See Compare plans.
Up to 6 in one run. The garment, pose, model, lighting and background stay the same across the set, so the colors look like one campaign. See Make color variations.
Yes. AI Outfit Builder takes a top or a dress, plus an optional bottom, shoes, accessories and a model photo, and makes one photo of everything worn together. See Build an outfit photo.
It's made for clothing, product and model photos, including fine edges like hair, lace and sheer fabric. Results depend on contrast and lighting, so check fine details with the before-and-after slider before you publish. See Remove a background.
Credits and plans
Free: 3 a month. Pro: 50. Growth: 200. Business: 500. Agency: 1,500. See Compare plans.
1 credit at Standard - 1K, 2 credits at HD - 2K and 3 credits at Ultra - 4K. Before you generate, the footer of Create Photo Shoot shows the cost as Est. N credits. On a finished photo, New Variation costs the same per photo, Create Poses costs that for each pose, and Upscale to 4K costs 3 credits. Each preview of a new AI model also uses 1 credit. See How credits work.
In the CREDITS widget in the sidebar, and in the lightning pill at the top right of every page. See Check your balance.
You can't start a generation that needs more credits than you have. The Generate Photo Shoot button changes to Not Enough Credits. Choose a lower resolution, upgrade from Billing, or buy a credit pack. On the free plan, you may be offered free credits for adding your mobile number. See When you don't have enough credits.
Yes. On Billing, switch between Monthly and Annual. Annual billing costs less than paying monthly, and the switch shows the saving, such as Save 17%. The iOS and Android apps also offer weekly billing. See Compare plans.
Yes. On the pricing page, select INR for rupees or USD for US dollars.
Yes, at any time. Where you do it depends on where you subscribed: on the web, in the App Store or in Google Play. See Change or cancel your plan.
Yes. On Billing, buy a one-time credit pack of 50, 100, 500 or 1,500 credits. Pack credits never expire. See Buy credit packs.
Downloads and imports
Myntra listings use 1080×1440, a 3:4 portrait image. In Create Photo Shoot, the Myntra marketplace preset sets 3:4, HD - 2K and a white background for you. When you download from a project, pick Myntra under MARKETPLACE EXPORT in the Download menu to get a 1080×1440 JPG of up to 1 MB. See Marketplace presets and Download and export.
Yes. Under MARKETPLACE in Create Photo Shoot, pick Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, Meesho or Nykaa Fashion to apply a recommended pose, background, aspect ratio and resolution. For other channels, choose the aspect ratio yourself in the Output step. When you download from a project, MARKETPLACE EXPORT in the Download menu has sizes for Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, Meesho, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Walmart and Zalando. See Marketplace presets.
Open the project and select Download. Download All gets every photo in the project in original quality, and Download Selected lets you pick the photos you want. For marketplace sizes, use MARKETPLACE EXPORT in the same menu. Every shoot is saved as a project, so you can come back and download again later without generating again. See Download and export.
Yes, one product page at a time. Select Import from Store, paste the link to a product page, select Fetch, and choose the photos to import. This copies the photos into your Products. It doesn't connect your store. See Product library.
